Awesome boxing workout – reinvigorated my home fitness
I am former boxer who doesn’t have enough time to get to the gym anymore. I try and squeeze in workouts at home, but it gets boring quick without someone to train with. I had heard about the Quell from a friend at my old gym and decided to give it a shot.The Quell arrived with solid packaging. The belt and accessories all fit well following the sizing guide. It was easy to setup on my PC(used my laptop)/TV in my home gym. I jumped into Shardfall, and was immediately put to work.The game itself had a nice variety of activities including plyometrics and boxing. The resistance bands provided a lot more pushback then standard shadowboxing which i really appreciated. My first session went for 2 hours! Way longer than a quick 45 minute workout I might otherwise sneak in. I’m really excited about this and really glad I took the risk on word of mouth – I think I’ll be mixing this into my training a lot going forward.

Fun workout!
I bought Quell as I love gaming and know that I need to work out more but just struggle to find the time. So far it has been great and I highly recommend. The game is sooooo much fun and at times I honestly forget that I’m working out…although I definitely feel it by the end! Great choice if you want to get fit but struggle to stick to your plans, or don’t want to make the trek to the gym. It’s the thing you gets me moving at home on my own schedule.

Great System with Tons of Potential
Got this and had it setup in about 30 minutes. Controller lights and charging state are a bit wonky as well as only allowing 2.4GH wifi, but great otherwise. Did a 25-minute sessions and was a great workout. Game is great and makes me want to get back into it to keep progressing my character! Have heard it ends after 16 worlds so a little disappointed in that. Would like an endless progression or at least hope for timely upgrades to Shardfall so we have a new goal always on the horizon. Hoping and praying everyone buys this so more games can be developed. A more real boxing game/simulator? Archery? Running shooter?This is a great system, and the game is good enough that I look forward to working out/cardio days more than I ever have. Here’s hoping we get regular updates and more games developed as soon as possible to keep the environment fresh and exciting!

Resistance bands setup takes forever
Don’t buy the resistance bands. If you get the game just know you have to restart your machine before gameplay… Every time!

I might finally do some exercise!
Love this! I really struggle to find fitness routines that I can stick to as I have a busy family life and normally find exercise boring but this is one that I know i’ll keep coming back to.

Dangours and does not work
Initial Review:It does not work out of the box, wants you to update, and it keeps failing. Support gives generic replies, then says escalated, and ignores you. Just avoid.Update:After 4 days of reboots, re-install the software, making a new 2.4hz isolated mesh network, figured out the issue with the controller update with Quell is not compatible with anything you do on a Unifi AP (yeah, Unifi is hardly used?) … setup a portable hotspot and got the controllers to update. Also before you ask, e-mailed support every day asking, and till this day (over 1wk since initial eMail they still ignore you)So played the game, with a few bugs of course (bet yes it is early) where the game keeps saying no Internet (on a ETH PC and SpeedTest gives 300mps down, thus it’s the Quell servers). Random pause menu coming up, and HORRIBLE tracking of hook punches and blocks, and the game wants that. Ok fine that can all be patched with updates of the game, no big deal.But only on the 2nd day (maybe the 5th workout), the tension strap SNAPED and broke. It hurt like crazy when it did that as well mid-workout as the part that broke is in the back, and it snapped forward on my arm. So this thing is also dangerous!!!!! You can buy a generic punch tension strap and make it work with the Quell system, but honestly, the STRAP breaks on 2nd day of use?This thing is dangerous and should not even be allowed to be sold.SIDE NOTE: The Internet thing is them most likely checking for ownership, so when/if they go out of business, your purchase becomes e-Waste.

Fitness & Fun!
Great! I usually feel very lazy to work out at the end of the day so it makes it easy to exercise after work and convenient to integrate in my routine. Shardfall is super entertaining, it makes 20-25 min. fly by.Have fun while working out!
