Weighted Jump Rope
I like the material and the weight is perfect. The only con is that when you jump, the handle doesn’t rotate, so you have to stop every 10-15 jumps, then start again.

Good weighted jump rope with one minor flaw (for me)
This is a nice weighted jump rope that has a nice, thick rope that is sure to last quite a while. It’s made well and I have been enjoying it so far with only one complaint. I wish this was the kind of jump rope that had ball bearings in the handle that spin when you are using it. My absolute favorite jump rope I ever had for weight loss was a medium thickness leather rope that connected to two medium weight handles that had high quality foam on the plastic handles and ball bearings on the inside. I used that for many years until it finally degraded enough to not be useable any longer. I have been on the hunt for something similar for a while now. This comes close in the feeling of using it, but it’s just slightly different. This is cheap enough to try if you think you will like it at all. It’s basic, but it’s good quality and good for the price.

Is as described.
The product is advertised as being “weighted” and, due to the thickness and heft of the rope, it is as advertised, about 1 1/2 pounds. There is even a canvas protective cover to protect the rope where it hits the floor when jumping.I prefer a leather rope with handles that are weighted and have ball bearings in them to allow the rope to really whistle thru the air but I think many people will probably find this bright pink heavy rope suitable.

An OK addition to home workout
This is an OK addition to my home workouts. I thought it would be a little easier to use as who doesn’t know how to jump rope-right? It’s actually a little harder to acclimate to a weighted rope as it wants to land on your head, it keeps hitting my hair clip and my head. I’ll keep working at it and see if it becomes something I can add to my routine. It comes with a bag which would make it nice for travel or storage. It might work a little better if it had swivel handles but I’m not sure that’s the answer to why I can’t seem to get the hang of this.

Quality Construction – But Consider the Length
This is a jump rope with quality construction – I like the heavyweight rope, the heat-shrink hand grips, and the protective cover where the jump rope hits the floor/ground/cement. I am quite certain this jump rope will withstand extensive use. I do wish that the ad had included the exact length of this jump rope – as it is too long for me to use efficiently. I am 5 ft 3” – and the proper length of a jump rope for me (including handles) should be about 8 ft. This jump rope measures 9 ft 1 inch, so please take that into consideration when picking out a jump rope that works best for you. It would be difficult to shorten this jump rope due to the heat-shrink rubber hand grips.

My be too long for some
I mostly like this jump rope. It is on the longer side so I have to hold the very end of the handles near the rope to make it work for me. After the first use, the rope on one side, just under the handle, sort of started to come untwisted and sort of formed a knot. I’m hoping it doesn’t continue to go down the rope. All of my other jump ropes have swivel handles so I’ve never had this issue before.

Burn some calories and build a little muscle
This jump rope has just enough weight to it that you’ll feel the burn after a few jumps! The handles are coated with a material that lets you get a good grip on them without slipping out of your hands. There is a long, black canvas “sleeve” that you can slide to the middle of the jump rope so the rope doesn’t get worn from rubbing the ground while you jump. You will definitely get a good workout while using this weighted jump rope! Your arms and shoulders will gain some toned muscle if you jump frequently!

weighted jump rope
This jump rope is for my daughter. She loves jumping and makes a game out it to see how much she can do to beat her next highest number. With that said, she is in gymnastics and is somewhat struggling with her upper body strength. We thought maybe this weighted jump rope would help her build a little muscle that she needs for her gymnastics and help give her the boost of confidence when trying the bars again. She has used it only for fun and has said it is a little heavy, but not too heavy and sees it as a fun challenge for her. So, a little at a time until she is comfortable with it.I on the other hand have tried it and it is heavier after a while of using it. So I could see how adding this to a routine would help.

Weighty Jump Rope
I have recently decided to incorporate jumping rope into my workouts so I jumped at the chance to get a weighted rope. This one is solid and well-made and HEAVY. I wanted to do the 1000 jump a day challenge but just starting out, I could not get past 25!The rope seems deceptively short when you first take it out of the package. I am 5’7″ and I thought this would be too short for me to jump but I guess that’s to make you jump higher, lol. Even with only doing 25-50, which is my max after two weeks, this is still a solid workout. I highly recommend this weighted rope for anyone on a fitness journey.

Pretty in Pink Jump Rope
This is a durable, light weight rope that I am looking forward to getting a lot of use out of. Flexible but yet strong in construction. I love the bright pink color. The carrying bag is also a wonderful plus. And there is a black nylon protective sleeve for the part that will be hitting the ground. Very thoughtfully manufactured for long utilization.

Criss Cross will make you… jump, jump
When I was a child I would jump rope almost every day but since I’ve become an adult it’s hard to find a jump rope that actually turns correctly and, well… works!! I got this on a whim thinking, why not try it? I can tell you it works PERFECTLY. Due to being weighted, it’s heavy enough to go around your body at a reasonable speed. You can do tricks that you learned as a kid with ease. I tried it on my driveway, as people who I don’t know were walking by, who remarked how effortless and how neat it looked with the tricks I did. LOL I’m 5’11” and this works easily for my height! The handles are comfortable in hand and rotate easily. It comes with a bag to store it in. An added perk is that because it’s weighted, you get a great workout, fat loss, etc. at a faster pace!

Works between my speed rope and my heavy rope
I have several variations of jump ropes but primarily use my speed rope or my heavy jump rope. This rope is great as a rope to use between the two. Faster than the heavy but heavier than the speed rope. The handle is about half the diameter of my 3 lbs rope, and it’s about 12-14 inches shorter. If you’re looking for something a little heavier, but not too much so this is a good in-between rope. Also, if you’re taller… maybe 6′ or more… this rope may not work well because it is shorter.Images show it next to my heavy rope.

No fraying
What I like most about this jump robe is that the manufacturer used some type of heat shrink at the ends to prevent the jump rope from fraying. It is heavier in comparison to a speed jump rope and when I used it I immediately felt the burn in my arms. This pink jump rope seems like it’s mainly advertised for women, but I’m a 34 yr old man and this jump rope is more than enough for me to get a workout. Other sellers have black weighted jump ropes that are 2lbs and it shows a muscular man on the advertisement. That same buff guy in the other’s advertisement can easily be using this pink jump rope because it is definitely a good workout. I recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their cardio.

Heavy duty
I love how this jump rope is made. It is heavy. It’s best to use it at the gym or outside. I haven’t been able to use it because i workout at home and live in the Midwest. So we’ve had a lot of snow. However i do really like the rope and think it’s a great investment to add to your workout!!

High quality rope
I very much like this rope. It is a brilliant pink color, very much as pictured! Nice and heavy weight-because of the type of rope it is, not that it has weights sewn in to it or anything (that I can see)The black cover on the arc of the rope is really nice, because its the part that skims the ground, so it protects the rope itself from getting scuffed and frayed on concrete.Nice and long, even my 6’2″ son can jump rope with this. Definitely gives you a much better workout than the normal exercise ropes you find out there. I love it

Great for short people!
My wife is shorter than most and has a hard time finding a good sized rope. This is a good size for those that are short to medium. I’m 5’9” and it works well for me too. The handles aren’t too thick. The weight makes for a good workout and the think color is super fun!
